Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Only two months to go until our Mill Valley Junior School 2018 FUN FAIR!
As you know this is a great end of year event that students get so excited about.
We have already started planning and after the success of last year we hope this year’s event will be just as great… if not better!
All proceeds from the Fun Fair go directly back into our school, which benefits all of our children!
BUT ….we can’t do it without help from YOU!
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
1. Come to our planning meetings at school ( please see the schedule below)
2. Starting in May please send in NEW toys for the prize tables. The more toys and games we receive will mean that we will be able to hold more raffles, thereby, giving more children the opportunity to win a prize.
3. Help us collect prizes that we can raffle – do you work for a company that would provide prizes, services (i.e., spa vouchers, manicures, etc.), tickets (i.e., Blue Jays, Raptors, etc.), gift cards ( i.e., grocery, shopping/clothing stores, bowling, play gym, etc.). The items will be available to be won on the night of the Fun Fair – again providing profit for the school, hence enhancements for the students.
4. VOLUNTEER to help on the night! Can you give us half an hour on the night to help run a game or food stand? Do you do face painting, airbrushing, tattoos, etc.? We need your help! When we have many helpers then we are able to divide the Fun Fair into shifts, thereby enabling everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy the Fun Fair with their children.
